Well, it's actually more complex than that too...
1) Finish the first ten lessons 2) PM me that you've mastered them and prove that to me 3) Begin undergraduate work with an assigned teacher 4) When ready, your teacher will graduate you 5) Only when you are an Academy Graduate can you apply to be a teacher (with certain exceptions) 6) Complete and pass the trials 7) Become a teacher
That's pretty much the Academy process in a nutshell.

Exactly right, jcole60 ... five and a half lessons!!! Never forget that last half-lesson. It might just be a half, but it is actually useful!
