Orion, Orion where art thou?
Since we are off topic anyways here's a poem I wrote today...
"That place Desolate Barren Screaming In silence the Hills form mouths Forever agape in unheard cries The lack Deafening Maddening Saddening Tears surrender Tumbling from the Great Twin Crack They greet the shrieking expanse It lays before me My offering is met only with a nonexistent howl Hideous splendor Echoes into infinity.
Foul, Rays of scalding light advance Clamber over distant mounds A beautiful darkness is broken Violence ensues The thundering silence pounds Screeching ire unspoken The soaring Imploring Roaring.
Light ablaze Ribbons of empty pain Sun, Seeming Staring Uncaring All fall within It’s terrible gaze Fair and Just bane.
Grins adorn Them as they crumble, Unheard is heard Shouts ring clear. Men and hills, They all tumble Everything I hear Rolling hills now plains. "

We are the only ones keeping it alive sadly...
Thanks.
So what type of manipulation do you use?

Umm I'm assuming you mean what technique I use for manip. In which case it'd be that one were you let your sub-c fill in the gaps. You know which one. I cant remember the specific name. What about you?

Direct intent?
I use many different things, primarily tech. I am currently working on, amongst many other things, perfecting a construct that translates intent to tech so one can be highly efficient in both effort put forth, and they construct produced.

Yeahyeah direct intent. I started with just the feel it out, but quickly learned conceptualization. Making the jump to direct intent wasnt hard. That and I've never been smart enough to use tech. Well, I guess if I really experimented and got the knowledge I could, but I'm lazy. So yeah. That construct to do both? Hardcore.

Heh, it lets one be lazy whilst using something highly complicated by the oec's standards.
If you catch me on msn, I'd be willing to set you up with one.

Dude that'd be sweet. Next time I see you I shall hit you up. So to speak. 2 q's to keep the thread alive. What, Stolide, is your definition of Advanced Psionics? Just curious. I was re-reading your thread on Intermediate Psionics and it got me curious. and 2. Do you ever go to psi-world anymore? Or any other forums for that matter.

I haven't defined it yet. I have determined that if I have done it, then it is simple.
Yes, I'm on psiworld, this site psionslair and tkforums.

I think Advanced would be kinda like reaching nirvana. Or attaining the flow in parkour. Like were everything just comes to you and it takes no effort to do anything. Or maybe that'd be a master. Just a thought.

If that is your definition of advanced, I am advanced. Anything I am capable of doing I can do with ease. The trick is increasing what you are capable of doing.

I was meaning that you are capable of doing all with ease. If you can imagine it, then you can do it no problem. Although I do reckon you to be fairly advanced.

I see. If you would like to say that fine, do keep in mind I don't think that.

Im gonna go on a rampage, running around the OEC screaming about how "STOLIDE IS AN ADVANCED PSION!!! RAWR!!!". mwahahahaha. Anyways. So now onto something a little more. . . psi-based shall we say? How do you think psi-combat (or psi-bat as I like to call it :} ) would change if there were larger numbers of people involved? Lets say a 5v5, a 10v10 and even a 100v100. Or would it even change at all? (As compared to the standard 1v1 spar/duel/fight)

It can change in an absurd number of ways depending on the paradigms and skill and ability of those fighting, and how they like to go about things. Large numbers of people can do things one can not.
