Okay, so now I’m going to teach you the theory of constructs and show you how to make a very basic one. This lesson will be a very important one, because most everything I do with psi, and consequently most everything that I teach you from now on, will center around constructs and energy manipulation.
A construct is basically just a mass of psi energy, when you get right down to it. These conglomerations (masses) of energy can in turn be mentally programmed to perform tasks for you. Basically, you are ordering the psi to do what you want. I’m not sure exactly how or why it works, but it does. Also, the more energy you put into a construct and the longer and more clearly you program it, the more difficult and complex things it can do.
So now that you know the very basic theory behind constructs, let’s try actually making one ourselves. Since this is your first try, I’m going to have you settle into a comfortable position like you did in the last lesson. As soon as you get comfortable, close your eyes and take in a deep breath. As you breathe in, I want you to tense every single muscle in your body and keep them tensed for several seconds. Then, finally, exhale that breath, and as you do so, let all that tension flow out of you, causing all your muscles to become completely and utterly relaxed.
Now that you are relaxed, it’s time to start our visualizations. I want you to picture, in your mind’s eye, that same scene we used last time. Start out by visualizing yourself, sitting or lying there in your body’s actual position, and then move on to visualizing the entire room you are in. Finally, visualize the psi flowing around you and swirling throughout the room.
When you can clearly see this scene in your mind, I want you to visualize your imaginary self positioning his/her hands as if holding a basketball or a large melon. As you see this in your mind, do so in reality. When your hands are cupped so, visualize the psi in the room flowing over and around and into your hands. As the psi swirls around it, visualize it forming into the shape of a sphere inside your cupped hands and solidifying slightly. If you feel so inclined, you can visualize more and more psi flowing into the psiball and giving it even more energy, although that isn’t necessary.
After you have formed the psiball, you should feel some sort of sensation in between your hands. I personally feel it as a sort of tingling coldness, like if you’re holding an ice cube, although not as severe. My students and other psions have reported heat, coldness, itchiness or tingling, pressure … it goes on. You will feel something, however.
Congratulations, you have formed a psiball, but the lesson isn’t over yet. Now that you have the psiball, you must program it to do something, or else it will simply dissipate when you stop visualizing. There are many different ways to program, but the way I personally use is to visualize my commands, whether as images or actual words, flowing into the psiball repeatedly until I suddenly get this sense of understanding, which means that the programming has been accepted.
This method, known as visualization, is not the only way to program. One popular way is “conceptual programming”, which is basically imposing your will upon the energy while thinking that it should do certain things. This imprints that effect upon the construct. Other people like to use “tactile imaging”, which is all about imprinting feelings upon a construct to make it do what you like. I will be almost exclusively using visualization in these lessons. However, if you prefer either of the two methods listed above, or any other method, feel free to experiment with those instead of the programming techniques I have listed here.
Here comes the visualization: start by programming your new psiball with how long it should last. In this case, because it won’t have a whole lot of energy, let’s just say five minutes. So please now use one of these two visualizations. The first visualization is to see in your mind’s eye that psiball floating there by itself in the room while a clock ticks for five minutes and then promptly dissipating. Then visualize this image going into the actual psiball and taking root inside of it. The second visualization is to see the command put into physical words (i.e., “You will last for five minutes and then dissipate”) that flow out of your mouth and into the construct. Whichever one you chose, visualize it over and over again until you get that sense of understanding I mentioned. It’s hard to describe it, but you’ll know it when you feel it.
Again, if you choose not to use visualization but instead some other method of programming, it should still work out just fine and you should still get the feeling of understanding I have mentioned.
When you get that sense, you’re almost done! Now all you have to do is visualize your completed construct hardening into a dense sphere of psi energy, and you really are done. Congratulations!
HOMEWORK: Use the above technique to create a construct that will do nothing but float there for five minutes and then dissipate. Once you have done that, create another construct that will do something a little more interesting, like for example cause someone to feel cold or hot. You can use that same technique but just alter the programming, or design your own variation on it to use that. The idea is to experiment. Be sure to record your results!
