Everyone who has been following my posted lessons so far has by now learned a lot about psi. You can feel psi and manipulate it by moving it around and forming it into compacted shapes, like psiballs. You have even learned basic programming and can make these psiballs do whatever you want!
All of you are progressing with leaps and bounds, but before we get too much further, I want to teach you grounding. Grounding is a very interesting skill in that it makes everything that has to do with energy work, easier. From psiballs to astral projection, grounding makes it easier.
Grounding is also a safety thing. There are many different psionic skills, such as empathy, where it is useful to ground yourself. This can help to prevent energy overload and burnout. And grounding can help to focus your mind in meditation.
Besides all this, grounding connects you to the earth. Using psi as a conduit, you form a connection to this world we live upon. Through this conduit, you will get rid of unwanted energy and rejuvenate yourself with clean, new energy. You will also release unwanted tension and stress ... and all this with almost zero effort. Interested? Let’s try it now.
As always, before we try anything psionic-related, I want you to sit or lay down and get into any position that is comfortable for you. As soon as you are comfy, I want you to take in a breath as deep as you can and tense all the muscles in your body. Then, as you slowly exhale, let go of all the tension you can. Make sure your shoulders, limbs, and almost all of your muscles are completely relaxed. Continue this method until you feel really relaxed, calm, and focused.
Now, close your eyes, and visualize yourself in whatever position you are truly in. Then imagine that you have "X-ray vision" and see your skin as almost transparent. See psi energy swirling under your skin, as mist, electricity, or whatever you prefer. Focus on this energy until you can truly feel its power, like the tingle of electricity burning through your body. Concentrate on this feeling for several seconds.
Then imagine that the energy is forming into long roots, like those of a tree, which sprout out from your body and slither down through the earth. These roots will act both as anchors (to balance your energy) and as conduits (to release and draw in energy).
Slowly, without forcing it, visualize the energy from your body flowing easily down through the roots and absorbing into the earth. If it is easier, visualize it like a mountain stream, running down from your body and into the earth, flowing without pause. As you release your own energy, the clean pure energy of the world flows back up through the roots and spreads through your body, taking the place of the unwanted energy you just released. Feel as all your negative emotions – tension, stress, pain – all melt away, to be replaced with calm tranquility and happiness.
Enjoy this feeling of rejuvenation; savor it. Continue the visualization for as long as you would like to. When you are ready to stop, visualize the flow of energy to the roots gradually slowing to a trickle and then stopping altogether. (Do not stop it all at once; this will come as a great shock to your energy body and may cause harm.) Then visualize the roots dissolving away, leaving you just as you were before.
Slowly, take a deep breath in. Hold it for as long as you are comfortable and then, as you exhale, allow your eyes to open. How do you feel? Do you feel happier, more comfortable, more energetic, and less stressed than you did before you began?
HOMEWORK: Practice grounding a few times until you are comfortable with the procedure. I want it to become like second nature to you, so that whenever you are feeling stressed, weak, lonely, etc, all you have to do is close your eyes and take a few moments to run through this technique. I also want you to try working with the psi immediately after you have run through this technique. Is it easier for you to make a psiball after grounding? How about programming it? Does feeling psi come easier and more naturally too?
From this point onward, I'm going to encourage you to ground yourself at the beginning of each lesson, before we actually start working with the psi, so don't rush this. I really want you to be comfortable with it before we move on.
As always, any questions can be directed to me or to your fellow students and other members.
