I've never had a chance to actualy fight one, but based on some reasonable assumptions (i.e. the Tarrasque cannot jump 1,600 feet into the air every round, and a Warforged can rest while levitating) and given 1 round of setup time, my 10th level Warforged psion would probably be able to win.
The best I've seen was an 8th level ranger kill it in melee in two rounds without taking any damage, but that was with a four-armed character.
I agree that 3.5 wasn't nearly as dificult as it could have been, though.

Actually a 6th level wilder can kill it in one round, assuming it MAKES it's saving throw!

Hmm.... I should check that out. Only played a Wilder once, and that was when my insane friend was DMing. Quite a lot of the party ended up dying, come to think of it.

That was awesome. I didn't really get the Omnimancy part though. If I make a construct shaped like a sword and poke someone with it, is it "Tech?" It seems like a blob of psi without programming. Can't programming and Omnimancy be done at the same time for the best results? Fill me in.

No, and no.
There are different rules that energy follows than other things. A sword shaped construct is not tech.
